OUR TEACHERS
MIA (FOUNDER)
Mia is an award-winning dancer, choreographer, and mentor with professional performance credits including A Night With Boy Blue as a company member, the UEFA Champions League Final (2024), ITV's Britain's Got Talent Semi-Finals (2022), and major live events at The O2 and Copper Box Arena and most recently as a cast member of YOU ARE HERE at the South Bank Centre.
Also previously trained with IMD Legion, Flawless Dance Hub, and HDI Camp, she has competed and performed internationally. She has three GDO Battle World titles, as well as a UDO World Championships Silver Medallist (2022). Mia is also a HHI UK Varsity Champion (2021), five-time HHI UK Mega Crew Champion (2019–2023), and represented the UK at the HHI World Championships in Arizona.
As founder of Fundamentalz Dance, she has successfully coached and choreographed multiple teams to World Championship level, combining elite industry experience with a passion for developing confident, skilled, and creative young dancers.
HARRISON
Harrison has been dancing for over 7 years, starting out in Breakin' and now trains a multitude of styles but focuses mainly on Litefeet. He been with with Fundamentalz for 3 years and now teaches several weekly classes and 1-1s.
He holds multiple solo and battle GDO World titles and is a regular regional competitor who strives to keep inspiring the younger generation of dancers.
Harrison has a passion for mentoring and seeing young dancers develop their confidence, skills and unique style through 1-1 sessions and personal support.
EVIE
Evie has been training with Fundamentalz since 2022 and with Boy Blue since 2023. Having danced in a variety of styles since the age of three, she began specialising in street dance at 12.
Her performance highlights include A Night with Boy Blue (2025), Alter Ego at the Hackney Empire with Boy Blue (2024), Dancer's Delight (2026) and U.Dance East (2024 & 2025).
She is a 2x GDO World Champion as part of a Fundamentalz team, and at UDO Worlds achieved 4th place with this team plus a 6th place solo.
Evie has been teaching at Fundamentalz since 2024 and enjoys sharing her experience, passion, and love of dance with our 5-7yrs class.
MALAIKA
Malaika has been at Fundamentalz for almost 3 years. She is a 2x GDO World Champion as part of a Fundamentalz team, and at UDO Worlds achieved 4th place with this team plus a solo bronze medal.
Malaika loves being able to teach and inspire dancers from a young age and she is passionate about helping students grow in confidence and skill while continuing to develop as a dancer herself.
With ambitions to become a full-time dancer, create and coach competitive teams, and inspire the next generation through movement, Malaika is dedicated to sharing their passion and knowledge with our Thursday U12s.
SASHA
Sasha has been dancing since the age of four and has trained in street dance with Fundamentalz for the past six years.
A two-time GDO World Champion, UDO World Championship team finalist, and multiple-time UDO World Solo/Duo Finalist, including rankings of 3rd, 4th, and 5th.
Her performance experience includes Dance as Delight with Fundamentalz and Boy Blue, U.Dance East, Barbican for show for A Night with Boy Blue, Set4Set, and Breakout.
Passionate about continuing their dance journey, Sasha hopes to study at a dance university, perform at prestigious events such as MOVE IT and the Roundhouse, and pursue professional opportunities in live performance and music videos.
BELLA
Bella has been dancing with Fundamentalz for three years and also trains weekly with Boy Blue in London.
She has performed in Dancer's Delight and A Night with Boy Blue at the Barbican. She is a 2x GDO World Champion as part of a Fundamentalz team, and at UDO Worlds achieved 4th place with this team plus a solo silver medal.
With a place secured at Dancebox Sixth Form Dance College, Bella is excited to continue her training and pursue a future in dance. She loves sharing her passion for dance and inspiring the next generation of performers at our Wixams branch.
